Psycho-education groups for clients
Rosalie Hyde initially developed these outpatient trauma-education groups for her own patients, believing that knowledge is a powerful tool in the recovery process. Today, her goal is to offer these groups to clients outside her own practice, helping those dealing with trauma’s effects understand that it is not what is wrong with them, but what happened to them that has manifested their personal reactions.
These groups educate patients, their families/partners on the impact of trauma on the self, mood and relationships over the lifespan, and offer guidance about the course of treatment.
To participate in these classes, you must be engaged in therapy and referred by your therapist.
